# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Services – New Mexico**Start Date:** August 17, 2026 **Location:** Santa Fe, New Mexico **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Days - 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, four 10-hour rotating shifts per week; includes 2 weekend shifts (12-hour call) per month and one night call per week**Highlights:** - Work in a dynamic surgical services environment with rotating 10-hour day shifts- Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system for streamlined patient documentation- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering quality patient care- Opportunity to float within surgical services units, expanding clinical skills and experience- Full-time position with structured schedule and predictable rotation pattern- Comprehensive on-call requirements: one night per week and two weekend shifts per month**Requirements:** - Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license- Current BLS certification via AHA required- Current ACLS certification via AHA required- Current PALS certification via AHA required- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in surgical services while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team.
