Our property management company is seeking a full-time accountant with experience in the residential/multifamily industry to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cash flow activity and forecast future needs effectively.
- Manage data entry and create precise month-end financial statements within strict deadlines using Yardi Voyager .
- Review and analyze A/R entries and tenant ledgers for accuracy.
- Complete high-volume A/P transactions monthly, ensuring thorough vendor reconciliation and resolving past-due invoices.
- Handle multiple sets of books with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare and post general and adjusting journal entries to maintain accurate records.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven accounting experience in the property management industry .
- Proficiency with Yardi Voyager is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve issues independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with property staff, vendors, and managers.
