For more information on Dexter Magnetic Technologies, please visit: [ Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the warehouse operations. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. The Team Lead will lead a team of warehouse associates and work closely with other departments to meet production goals and maintain inventory accuracy. Major Responsibilities - reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: * Supervision and Team Management: * Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed. * Schedule and assign tasks to team members, ensuring optimal utilization of resources. * Foster a positive and safe working environment, promoting teamwork and cooperation. * Warehouse Operations: * Oversee the receiving, sorting, storing, and shipping of products or materials. * Ensure that all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurately recorded, inspected, and documented. * Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory control team to maintain accurate stock records. * Quality Control: * Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee that products meet established standards. * Conduct regular inspections of products and warehouse facilities to identify and resolve any quality or safety issues. * Process Improvement: * Continuously assess warehouse processes and identify opportunities for improvement in productivity and efficiency. * Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs. * Safety and Compliance: * Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. * Conduct regular safety training sessions for warehouse associates and enforce safe work practices. * Reporting and Documentation: * Generate and maintain reports related to warehouse activities, such as inventory levels, order fulfillment, and productivity metrics. * Provide regular updates to management regarding warehouse performance and any challenges or concerns. * Training and Development: * Train new hires on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols. * Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the warehouse team. Hourly Rate $23.99 - $26.19 per hour Qualifications Education and Experience * High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus. * Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2-4 years in a leadership or supervisory role. * Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and other departments. * Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
