Medical Malpractice Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join our Toledo office. The ideal candidate will have first-chair trial experience, a deep understanding of medical-legal issues, and a proven track record of handling high-stakes cases from inception through verdict.


Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum four years of experience handling medical malpractice defense litigation.
• Experienced trial lawyer with regular appearances in court conferences, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
• Skilled in all aspects of litigation strategy from drafting pleadings, responding to written discovery motions and discovery demands, preparing motions, to negotiating settlements and preparing witnesses for trial.
• Trusted advisor to insurers and corporate clients, serving as primary contact for claims professionals, providing case assessments, litigation plans, and status reports.
• Must be able to work independently on an assigned caseload.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing and legal research skills, and a strong work ethic.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license in good standing with the [State] Bar.
• Minimum four years of litigation experience .
• First-chair trial experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure cases and manage complex litigation matters.
