Technology Sales Representative - Power Systems

Main Duties & Responsibilities Successfully be the customer facing subject matter expert on Technology working with Machine Sales and Product Support promoting Product Link, Condition Monitoring, Vision Link and emerging technology products and services. Vision Link Unified Suites training both internal and external. Keep Machine Sales and Product Support informed on emerging technology. Promote Condition Monitoring services and associated technology. Provide customers with mixed fleet telematics solutions. Recommend Product Link devices and applications. Assist customers with introduction and implementation of Cat Inspect. Support Trimble on highway telematics system. Introduce and promote my.cat.com. Assist PSD in navigating and understanding what technology is available. Qualifications 5 to 7 years of experience in Sales with an emphasis in Product Support required. Superior office system computer skills required to include: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language. Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills. High School Diploma or related equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree from a four‑year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred. Physical Demands Physical demands include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, feeling, grasping, repetitive motion, talking, hearing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and exposure to weights up to 25 lbs., 26–50 lbs., or over 50 lbs. Activities may involve walking, standing, sitting, and occasional kneeling or crouching. Environmental Conditions Environmental conditions include inside conditions with protection from weather but not temperature change, outside conditions with no effective protection from weather, activities occurring both inside and outside, extreme cold (temperatures below 32°F for more than one hour), extreme heat (temperatures above 100°F for more than one hour), noise levels requiring shouting to be heard above ambient noise, vibration exposure, hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working on scaffolding or other high places, exposure to heat, chemicals, fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, and poor ventilation, oil or cutting fluid exposure, and respirator requirements.
