School Security Officer

Cramer Security and Investigations is now hiring a Full-Time School Security Officer for Greenbrier County Schools. We are seeking capable and enthusiastic candidates to help serve our schools and community in a vital role. Location: Rupert, WV Requirements: All applicants must pass a criminal background check and drug screening before employment. Duties and Responsibilities: This position is physically demanding, requiring extended periods of standing and walking. School Security Officers will be expected to perform duties such as: Patrolling the school campus and surrounding areas, including unsupervised zones. Intervening in situations that may result in injury and encouraging students to avoid unsafe behavior. Serving as a role model for students in terms of behavior, attire, and professional grooming. Supervising the arrival and dismissal of students, as well as during breakfast, lunch, and recess periods. Assisting students in getting to class on time and ensuring smooth traffic flow in hallways. Monitoring visitors, verifying identification, and escorting unauthorized individuals to exits. Alerting school personnel to any emergencies or unusual situations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
