Bookkeeper

BOOKKEEPING POSITION AVAILABLE: WE ARE HIRING! We are seeking an experienced bookkeeping employee. Two or four-year accounting degree or four-year business degree desired, but not necessary for applicants otherwise qualified. Quickbooks experience is highly desired. We have clients in Quickbooks desktop version, as well as Quickbooks Online. Duties to include bookkeeping, payroll, A/P, A/R, payroll tax quarterlies, sales tax reporting, reconciliation work, job costing, assisting clients with establishing and maintaining budgets, Quickbooks work (including Quickbooks cleanup projects for new clients), handling WC audits for clients, issuing W2 forms and 1099 forms. Experience in those areas desired. All of our employees must be able to keep things confidential since we are dealing with confidential client data. Must be dependable and strive for excellence in all areas. Accuracy and attention to detail are of the utmost importance in this line of work. We partner with a CPA firm in Blair County. Through this partnership, we also offer CPA services and comprehensive tax return work focusing primarily on business and more complex tax return work. It is not necessary for applicant to be an Enrolled Agent or skilled in business tax returns since this work is done through our CPA partnership.
