Schedule / Job Type

Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 36 hours/week | Four 9-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with one rotating day off per week | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the circulating RN in an active operating room environment supporting multiple surgical service lines
• Provide 1:1 care for surgical patients throughout perioperative phases
• Participate in room turnovers alongside all OR team members
• Fulfill on-call obligations including one weeknight per week (4:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and approximately one 48-hour weekend call every five to six weeks
• Assist on other units for 1:1 coverage during low-census situations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 5 years of OR circulating experience
• Experience working in a smaller facility OR with exposure to multiple surgical service lines
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification (required for call coverage)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Urology, OB/GYN, General Surgery, and ENT
• Demonstrated ability to adapt in a community hospital setting with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
