Paramount Gems is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Jewelry Inventory & Merchandising Coordinator to join our team in New York City.

In this role, you will play an important part in managing our fine jewelry inventory, preparing merchandise for customer orders and trade shows, and ensuring every piece is accurately tracked and organized. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with jewelry industry experience who enjoys working with fine jewelry and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.

What You'll Do

• Manage Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure jewelry is properly organized, stored, and easy to locate.
• Fulfill Orders: Locate, pull, verify, and prepare jewelry for customer orders and sales requests.
• Coordinate Merchandising: Organize and prepare jewelry collections for customer orders and trade shows.
• Track Merchandise: Monitor jewelry moving in and out of the office, ensuring all pieces are accounted for when sent out and returned.
• Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Conduct physical inventory counts, reconcile records, identify discrepancies, and promptly report missing or misplaced items.
• Receive & Inspect Merchandise: Check incoming jewelry against purchase orders and accompanying documentation, reporting any inconsistencies.
• Ensure Security: Handle valuable merchandise responsibly and follow established inventory control and security procedures.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with sales and office teams to ensure merchandise is available and ready when needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in the jewelry industry is required .
• Experience in inventory management, merchandising, stock control, or jewelry operations is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately identify, count, verify, and track individual jewelry pieces.
• Familiarity with fine jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals is a plus.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, and inventory management systems.
• A dependable, proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling valuable merchandise.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Ability to work full-time, in person, at our New York City office.
