Job Description

Pioneer NeuroHealth is expanding our NeuroHospitalist APP team at our AdventHealth Ocala location. Join a high-performing neurology team where you'll make a meaningful impact on patient care and advance neurological treatment in a supportive, collaborative environment.


Position Overview
As an APP with our NeuroHospitalist team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care during daytime shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) on a 7-on/7-off schedule, offering exceptional work-life balance. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure continuous coverage and optimal patient outcomes. This role involves managing a broad range of Neurology cases and performing procedures within your credentialed scope.


What You'll Do
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic neurological conditions (stroke, seizures, TBI, etc.)
• Perform or assist with neurological procedures (lumbar punctures, trigger point injections)
• Collaborate with neurohospitalists, neurosurgeons, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on neurological conditions and care strategies
• Maintain accurate patient records and support research-driven care improvements


Qualifications
• Active Florida licensure as PA or APRN
• Neurology or NeuroHospitalist experience preferred
• Highly motivated new APP graduates encouraged to apply-mentorship available
• Strong patient-centered communication and teamwork skills
