Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby to provide quality nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns. The ideal candidate will support mothers during recovery after childbirth, assist with newborn care, and provide education to families on postpartum recovery and infant care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns.
- Monitor maternal recovery and newborn health, including vital signs.
- Assist with breastfeeding, newborn feeding, and basic infant care.
- Educate parents on newborn safety, hygiene, and postpartum care.
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as prescribed.
- Identify and report changes in maternal or newborn conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow hospital protocols.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous Mother Baby, Postpartum, or Maternal-Newborn nursing experience preferred.
- BLS certification required; NRP may be required depending on facility requirements.
- Strong communication, assessment, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
