Staff Accountant

Job Title: Staff Accountant Location: Stow, Ohio – (On-site) – Monday-Friday Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 About the Company Our client is a small, established nonprofit organization serving the local community through mission-driven programs and services. The accounting function plays a key role in supporting grant management, fund accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and overall organizational decision-making. Position Overview The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations within a nonprofit environment, including general ledger maintenance, fund and grant accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close. This role will work closely with leadership and program teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, proper tracking of restricted and unrestricted funds, and compliance with grant and funding requirements. The Staff Accountant will also assist with monitoring grant budgets, tracking grant-related expenditures, preparing supporting documentation, and assisting with financial reports required by government agencies, foundations, and other funding organizations.
