This position supports the service team by maintaining pristine dining spaces, anticipating the needs of guests and servers, and ensuring every detail of the dining room meets Spago's elevated standards.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, composed under pressure, and passionate about hospitality. In a Michelin-level environment, excellence is found in the details, and every team member contributes to the overall guest experience.Pay: $16.90/hour plus tipsEssential Job Functions:Provide professional, polished, warm, and engaging service to every guestMaintain the dining room and service areas to exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentationSet up and stock assigned work areas according to elevated fine-dining service standardsInspect assigned stations and tables to ensure impeccable setup and presentation before and throughout serviceAnticipate the needs of servers and guests and proactively provide support throughout the dining experienceClear completed courses with precision, discretion, and appropriate service timingReplenish utensils, glassware, water, bread, and other items while maintaining a seamless guest experienceReset tables efficiently and precisely according to established Spago service standardsServe coffee, tea, water, bread, butter, and other food and beverage items as directedSupport the service team throughout each course while maintaining an organized and efficient work areaMaintain service stations, fill ice bins, and restock items according to established par levelsRetrieve, polish, organize, and properly store china, silverware, glassware, and stewarding itemsComplete all opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities to the highest standardMaintain awareness of the dining room and respond quickly to changing service needsConsistently uphold Spago's standards for hospitality, cleanliness, timing, presentation, and attention to detailPerform other job-related duties as assignedRequired Experience:Minimum of 1–2 years of Busser or comparable front-of-house experience, preferably in a fine-dining, luxury hospitality, or Michelin-recognized environmentExperience working in a Michelin recognized restaurant environment is strongly preferredStrong understanding of dining room operations, service sequence, and fine-dining standardsDemonstrated ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail while working with urgencyGenuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiencesSelf-motivated, dependable, and committed to continuous improvementAbility to anticipate needs and work proactively as part of a highly collaborative service teamAbility to stand and remain active for extended periodsOpen availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Exceptional attention to detail and pride in maintaining a pristine environmentAbility to execute service responsibilities with precision, consistency, and urgencyStrong understanding of professional fine-dining service standardsAbility to anticipate the needs of guests and fellow team membersStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to remain composed, focused, and professional in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentStrong teamwork, multitasking, and organizational skillsProactive, service-driven mindset with a willingness to go above and beyondProfessional appearance, positive attitude, and genuine enthusiasm for hospitalityCommitment to learning, growth, and achieving the highest standards of serviceWhy Spago Beverly Hills?Join a team where excellence is the standard and every detail matters. The role involves frequent handling of service equipment and tools and requires lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally. Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Work Conditions:This position operates primarily indoors within the front-of-house and kitchen environments. Team members may be exposed to heat, hot foods, steam, cleaning chemicals, fumes, equipment, and moderate to high noise levels depending on service volume and equipment use.
