School Bus Driver (PartTime) – Chelmsford, MA Pay & Schedule Pay: $28.84- $34.00/hour (effective 8/24/26) Paid Training: $20/hour Charter/Activity Trips: $27.81/hour Schedule: Parttime, split shift (AM/PM) – Weekdays only – no nights, weekends, or holidays Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours Sign on bonus: $5,000 Why Drive with NRT? Paid CDL training – no experience required Attendance bonuses + referral bonus program Consistent hours, consistent pay Opportunities for extra hours (charters & activity trips) Parttime benefits package: Dental, vision, 401(k), and more Supportive, safety first work environment Make a real impact in your local community What You’ll Do Safely transport students to and from school and events Drive assigned local routes Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections Maintain a clean, safe vehicle Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies Requirements CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain – we train!) Valid DOT medical card—or able to obtain one Safe driving record Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience Ability to pass background check & drug screening Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written) Ideal Candidates Retirees & Former Professionals: Use your leadership skills to manage a mobile environment without corporate stress.
