Radiologic Technologist CT

The Radiologic Technologist with CT specialty is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using CT and X-ray equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role involves conducting approximately 30 imaging studies per day, operating Hitachi CT and CoreLabs X-ray machines, and collaborating with healthcare professionals during shift overlaps. The position requires an active RDMS certification with CT, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work full-time shifts primarily during the day with variable overnight duties based on emergency department orders. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT and X-ray equipment according to established protocols.
- Operate Hitachi CT and CoreLabs X-ray machines safely and effectively.
- Conduct approximately 30 imaging studies daily to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members during shift overlaps and transitions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the RPMS electronic medical record system.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control policies.
- Assist with emergency imaging procedures as required during overnight shifts based on ED orders.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification with CT specialty.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience operating CT and X-ray imaging equipment, preferably Hitachi and CoreLabs systems.
- Ability to perform a high volume of imaging studies efficiently and accurately.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, preferably RPMS.
- Valid Real ID as required for facility access.
- Previous experience working in hospital or emergency department imaging settings.
- Knowledge of additional imaging modalities or certifications.
- Experience working in rural or tribal healthcare environments.
- No state license required for this position.
- No on-call requirements.
- Shift overlap occurs during days and shift changes to ensure coverage.
- Must comply with facility SOPs and safety protocols.
- Full-time position primarily during day shifts (7:30 AM to 6:00 PM) on Thursdays through Sundays.
- Overnight shifts assigned based on emergency department orders.
- Contract duration options include 3-month and 13-month terms, with 3-month contracts preferred for easier onboarding.
$41 - $43 per hour
