Sr. Tax Accountant

Century Group's consumer product client is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team full time. This position supports the monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting close processes. You will join a dynamic environment with a collaborative team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Description:
- Assist in consolidating the income tax provision quarterly, including preparing the global effective tax rate.
- Reconcile worldwide tax balance sheet accounts, covering taxes payable, deferred taxes, and related valuation allowances.
- Implement software solutions to enhance provision processing and reporting efficiency.
- Provide tax accounting support for foreign subsidiaries, reviewing monthly US GAAP tax journal entries, quarterly and annual tax provision calculations, and annual tax provision-to-return analysis.
- Strong background in corporate tax law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented with effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and tax research software.
- BA or BS in Accounting or Finance,
- 4+ years of tax provision or compliance experience in both Big 4 and multinational corporate settings.'
