Travel Physical Therapist, Acute Care - $2,552 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Odessa, Texas. Job Overview Travel Physical Therapist – 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days, in an acute care setting. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute plans of care for a variety of patient populations. Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy technician support staff. Bill in accordance with facility guidelines. Comply with PT board rules and state regulations. Collaborate with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused care. Utilize adaptive equipment as appropriate. Create and modify patient plans of care based on condition changes. Use the medical center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements 1 year of experience (6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates). BLS certification and valid state license. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply. Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.
