Carpenter / Facilities Maintenance TechnicianPay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hourJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter / Facilities Maintenance Technician to support maintenance, repair, and light construction projects across a variety of commercial, industrial, and facility environments. This position is ideal for a well-rounded trades professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service.The successful candidate will perform a combination of carpentry, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and renovation work while ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & RepairPerform general maintenance and repair tasks involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and other building systems.Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address facility issues.Troubleshoot building and infrastructure problems and implement effective repair solutions.Maintain equipment, fixtures, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance.Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely manner.Construction & InstallationComplete light construction and renovation projects.Install and repair doors, cabinetry, flooring, fixtures, trim, and other building components.Assist with facility upgrades, remodels, and improvement projects.Read and interpret work orders, project specifications, and blueprints.Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable building codes and safety standards.Customer Service & CommunicationCommunicate effectively with clients, property managers, vendors, and team members.Provide recommendations regarding repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility improvements.Maintain a professional attitude and deliver exceptional customer service throughout all phases of work.Accurately document completed work and communicate project updates.QualificationsPrevious experience in carpentry, maintenance, facilities, construction, or skilled trades environments.Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.Strong communication and customer service skills.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.Work EnvironmentIndoor and outdoor work environments in varying weather conditions.Frequent travel between job sites.Exposure to dust, noise, fumes, and other typical construction and maintenance conditions.Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.Why Apply?Competitive pay: $24.00 - $28.00/hourVariety of projects and work environmentsOpportunity to utilize multiple trade skillsStable, long-term career growth potentialCollaborative and professional work environmentJob Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Collins, CO.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
