Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Component Design Engineer: Turbomachinery - Cold End Design (Fans, Compressors, and Rotatives)Working Pattern: Full TimeWorking location: Indianapolis, INAs a Senior Component Design Engineer for gas turbine Fan, Compressor, and Rotatives Systems you will be responsible for the on-time delivery and quality of Cold End Design, which includes Rotatives, component design definition artefacts (i.e. documents, models, and definitions) that meet system and sub-system requirements and partner with and support other Fan and Compressor Design personnel. The Senior Component Design Engineer is responsible for the development and integration of the technical activities for design solutions.This role requires a highly motivated and committed individual with the ability to adapt and drive teams to accomplish stretch goals, advancing new technologies in novel ways and embracing new ways of working to yield impactful results.Recognized as an authoritative source of technical expertise and advice in a local area within a business and viewed as a key member of the broader team of technical expertise by senior capability leadership. May be a specialist with depth and/or breadth of knowledge in their own discipline or field or may be a specialist in Rolls-Royce gas turbine products and solutions and how they are differentiated from the competition.Generates business benefits through the application of specialist technical knowledge within their immediate area of expertise.
