Job Opportunity: Geriatrician Clinician Educator
Our organization is seeking a board eligible or board certified geriatrician to become a part of our faculty as a clinician educator, focusing on training fellows and internal medicine residents. We operate an active homecare service that spans 11 counties in Northeastern New York, alongside an outpatient internal medicine primary care teaching division. This division serves as the continuity training site for our geriatrics fellowship and supports half of our internal medicine residency program. Additionally, we provide a teaching environment for medical students across all four years, as well as for physician assistant and pharmacy students.
Our geriatric fellowship program represents a distinctive collaboration between our institution and the Eddy Senior Care system of St. Peter's Health Partners, featuring inter-professional training opportunities across various care settings.
The successful candidate will have the chance to blend a part-time home visit practice with outpatient consultations and manage a Geriatric primary care panel. Responsibilities will also include mentoring our Geriatrics fellow, residents, and medical students.
Academic appointments will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
