Job Summary:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position is based in Neptune, New Jersey. The nurse will be responsible for evaluating neonates and assisting physicians with patient care in the NICU. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care tailored to the unique needs of neonatal patients. The nurse will develop individualized care plans through assessment, intervention, and evaluation, ensuring compliance with evidence-based standards and supporting innovative care practices.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend and as-needed holiday coverage required.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing), New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - American Heart Association, 1+ years of experience in neonatal care, pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• Skills: Patient Care, Nursing Care Planning, Patient Assessment, Therapeutic Nursing Interventions, Care Management, Clinical Documentation, Evidence-Based Practice, Pediatric Nursing, PICU Nursing.
• Additional Information: The role involves clinical documentation, evidence-based practices, and pediatric nursing. This position requires floating as needed, specifically in Pediatrics and PICU, with navy scrubs. The start date is 07/27/2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
