What You’ll Do as a Permission Facilitator
Meet with the utility company daily to assess and discuss line clearance work (tree and vegetation trimming/removal around their power lines.)
- Obtain permission from the home or business owner for Lewis Tree Service crews to do necessary line clearance work on their property
- Communicate to the utility company any limitations or refusals of line clearance work that may arise while planning the work to be done
- Interpret utility circuit maps
- Assist crews on a variety of vegetation management tasks such as spraying, brush clean-up and trimming
- Help enforce job safety
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in customer service settings with skills in conflict de-escalation
- Experience with or willingness to learn how to interpret drawings, environmental engineering plans, construction plans and/or utility circuit maps
- Proficiency in standard office computer hardware and software such as Microsoft Office
- Willing and able to obtain specialized training and certifications as required, such as tree species identification and local, state, and federal licenses
- Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR cards
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and job duty skills tests
- Ability to obtain a valid Driver’s License
Physical Demands
Ability to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs. to shoulder height or higher
- Push or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Walk or hike up to one mile on uneven terrain
- Stand, bend, stoop, and work outdoors for extended periods
- Drive or ride in vehicles as required for the route/assignment
- Hear, speak, see, and communicate effectively
- Operate two-handed tools and equipment

Comments: You should expect variability based on regional weather patterns. Personal protective equipment is required to be worn by OSHA and ANSI.

Lo que harás como Facilitador(a) de Permisos
Reunirte diariamente con la compañía de servicios públicos para evaluar y conversar sobre el trabajo de despeje de líneas (poda/remoción de árboles y vegetación alrededor de sus líneas eléctricas).
- Obtener permiso del propietario de la vivienda o negocio para que las cuadrillas de Lewis Tree Service realicen el trabajo necesario de despeje de líneas en su propiedad.
- Comunicar a la compañía de servicios públicos cualquier limitación o negativa al trabajo de despeje de líneas que pueda surgir durante la planificación del trabajo.
- Interpretar mapas de circuitos de la compañía de servicios públicos.
- Ayudar a las cuadrillas con diversas tareas de manejo de vegetación, como aplicaciones, limpieza de maleza y poda.
- Ayudar a reforzar la seguridad en el trabajo.
Lo que aportas
- Diploma de preparatoria o equivalente
- Sólidas habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita
- Experiencia en servicio al cliente con habilidades de desescalamiento de conflictos
- Experiencia o disposición para aprender a interpretar planos, planes de ingeniería ambiental, planes de construcción y/o mapas de circuitos de servicios públicos
- Dominio de equipo y software de oficina estándar, como Microsoft Office
- Disposición y capacidad para obtener capacitación especializada y certificaciones según se requiera, como identificación de especies de árboles y licencias locales, estatales y federales
- Capacidad para obtener tarjetas de Primeros Auxilios y RCP
- Aprobar una prueba de drogas previa al empleo y pruebas de habilidades relacionadas con el puesto
- Capacidad para obtener una licencia de conducir válida
Exigencias Físicas
Capacidad para:
- Levantar hasta 50 lb (aprox. 23 kg) a la altura del hombro o más

- Caminar o hacer senderismo hasta una milla en terreno irregular
