Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments through video consultations, gauging the unique needs and presentations of clients. \n Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual clients, addressing their mental health challenges in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues. \n Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other approaches relevant to client needs. \n Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of client sessions in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. \n Engage in regular consultation and collaboration with geriatric psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to create a holistic support system for clients. \n Offer educational resources to clients and their families, helping them to understand mental health conditions, available therapies, and community resources. \n Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay informed about developments in the mental health field. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n This position specifically targets older adults and geriatric populations, who often experience unique mental health challenges due to age-related changes and other life transitions. You will be instrumental in providing tailored therapeutic interventions that take into account the physical, cognitive, and emotional aspects of aging. The clinic focuses on enabling these clients to live fulfilling lives through effective mental health support, making your role pivotal to their well-being.
