$2758.08/week - Job Summary: Seeking an experienced CT technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures independently, primarily in an emergency room setting. The role requires proficiency in a wide range of CT exams, excluding specialized areas such as virtual colons and cardiac imaging. Responsibilities: Perform all standard CT scans for ER patients, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. Operate Siemens Definition ASEMR CT scanner, adhering to imaging protocols and quality standards. Independently manage imaging responsibilities during the overnight shift, with support from an imaging aide for patient transport. Maintain accurate documentation within Epic PACS system and Visage imaging software. Ensure compliance with ARRT, NYS licensing, and NYSLicensing to inject standards, along with current CPR certification. Qualifications: Hold valid ARRT certification and NYS license for radiologic technology. Possess a NYS license to inject contrast agents. Demonstrate at least 2 years of CT imaging experience, including independently scanning ER patients. Exhibit excellent knowledge of CT procedures, patient safety, and image quality requirements. Capable of working efficiently in a solo overnight environment, showing strong clinical judgment and technical skills.
