About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel with a focus on complex, high-exposure litigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing sophisticated legal matters, from early strategy through resolution. This role involves working closely with leadership on case development, motion practice, and trial preparation. The Senior Counsel will also be expected to mentor junior attorneys, where appropriate, and to have a strong background in complex civil litigation, with a preference for defense experience. Applicants for the Senior Counsel position should have a minimum of 6 years' of litigation experience, with a proven track record in handling complex commercial, fiduciary, and professional malpractice cases, as well as real estate disputes, construction defects, insurance defense, and employment litigation. The role requires exceptional legal writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high-level work product in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. Trial experience or meaningful trial preparation experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at drafting and arguing substantive motions, taking and defending depositions, and preparing cases for trial, including strategy and witness development.
