RESPONSIBILITIES Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE Load and unload trucks Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time delivery Review discrepancies from inventory and notifies Branch Manager Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged Assist Warehouse Supervisor/ Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Lift or move up to 100 lbs. Standing, walking, and moving frequently QUALIFICATIONS Valid CDL Class A or B is required for this position Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience Experience with building products is very helpful Moffett experience preferred but not required Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude Clean driving record - no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years Ability to pass a drug screen Ability to read and interpret safety policies and procedures High School diploma or GED About Us When you join Alside, you are part of a leading exterior building products distribution business serving residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets. Additional Information The actual wage offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Additional Information The pay range for this position is $28-$29 an hour.
