Senior Project ManagerThe Senior Project Manager, Construction leads the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale or complex construction and capital improvement projects. This role serves as the senior client-facing lead on high-visibility projects, mentors junior project management staff, and helps set the standard for project delivery within the market.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale or complex construction and capital improvement projects.Develop and manage multi-million dollar project budgets and schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating risk.Serve as the senior client-facing representative, building and maintaining trust with owners, tenants, and capital partners.Direct the selection, contracting, and performance management of architects, engineers, and general contractors.Negotiate complex contracts, change orders, and dispute resolutions.Mentor and provide guidance to Project Managers, Associate Project Managers, and Project Coordinators.Present project status, budget, and risk updates to senior leadership and clients.Ensure compliance with entitlements, permitting, and all applicable codes and regulations.Oversee project closeout, commissioning, and transition to property management.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required; advanced degree a plus.8+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction project management, including large or complex projects.Demonstrated success managing multi-million dollar budgets and cross-functional project teams.Strong knowledge of construction law, contracts, and risk management.Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members.Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.Established relationships with contractors, consultants, and vendors within assigned markets.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.Physical RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
