Your role and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.

• Develop and maintain relationships with Oracle as our software partner.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

• Conduct market research to understand industry trends and client needs.

• Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for clients.

• Prepare and present proposals and business cases to potential clients.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business.

• Track and report on business development activities and outcomes.

Required education:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Required technical and professional expertise

Required technical and professional expertise:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.

• Strong understanding of technology and consulting services.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Domain knowledge of HR and/or finance and of Oracle or equivalent platforms.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a related field.

• Experience in the technology consulting industry.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Industry Trend Analysis: Experience with analyzing industry trends, identifying areas of opportunity, and developing tailored solutions that address clients' specific pain points.

• Solution Optimization: Experience in optimizing integrated solutions to deliver increased value to clients, meeting their evolving business needs and expectations.

• Business Growth Initiatives: Experience with developing and implementing initiatives that drive business growth through tailored solutions, supporting IBM Consulting's objectives and strategies.
