Role Profile Eastman is seeking a Market Development Manager for our Specialty Fluids division, focusing on the Heat Transfer Fluids (HTF) market. This role involves developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive and sustain growth in HTF market segments. This role will be based in the Kingsport, TN, office. #LI-TW1 Responsibilities Assess markets, applications, customers, and value chains to identify growth opportunities and unmet needs. Develop and maintain addressable market/application maps. Lead front-end innovation; idea to Concept (I2C)- innovation development platform using strong market research and project management capabilities Manage Stage-Gate projects from opportunity identification through commercialization and post-launch review using the EBME framework (Eastman Business Management Excellence). Develop market activation plans, value propositions, Economic Value Estimates in partnership with relevant teams. Work with Sales to advance leads and convert opportunities into commercial wins. Support implementation of SAGE digital tool (Sent to Value Chain Partner lead management process) Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate marketing strategies and establish feedback loops with Sales. Support refining existing offers and customer segment mapping. Track key business metrics; Market Development & Innovation index, Vitality Index, and Net New Business Lead Campaign Factory activities and support segment team routines. Develop technical marketing/application collateral, technical competitive benchmark and arguments, and training programs in collaboration with relevant technical experts, Sales, and Marketing Communications teams. Build HTF application and market expertise through engagement with customers and relevant industry stakeholders. Qualifications Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field is required. MBA in strategic marketing or Business is preferred. 8+ years of experience in engineering, marketing, business development, product management, or commercial roles. Demonstrated ability to identify and commercialize growth opportunities in a B2B environment. Experience in heat transfer fluids, thermal management, industrial fluids, or a related market preferred. Strong analytical, market research, project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. English language required, any other languages would be beneficial.
