Position Summary Position Title: Maternal Fetal Medicine MD/DO, Academic Department: Obstetrics and Gynecology, Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (Boston University Medical Center). We are recruiting a full‑time Academic Maternal‑Fetal Medicine Specialist. Primary responsibilities include coverage of the antepartum service, obstetrical ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, perinatal consultation, and optional management of the labor floor. Faculty are expected to participate in resident and medical student education. This position is co‑listed with an open position for Director of Quality and Safety for the Department of OB/GYN at Boston Medical Center. Qualified MFM candidates are invited to apply concurrently for the Director of Quality and Safety role listed separately. Research Opportunities MFM faculty are engaged in funded research in hypertension, health‑related social needs, and substance use disorders, among other areas. The OB‑GYN ambulatory clinic sees about 55,000 visits per year. 30% of current faculty and 65% of current residents identify as underrepresented in medicine (URiM). Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $335,916 – $604,321. Compensation is commensurate with academic training and practice experience.
