Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, accommodating the needs of our dedicated team members while maintaining flexibility to engage effectively with clients. You will primarily work within schools, collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to address the diverse needs of students. Although the role is remote, you will be expected to visit schools as necessary for meetings and assessments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of students, evaluating their strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and capabilities while ensuring accurate and complete intake documentation.

• Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities to design individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student, fostering a supportive environment for personal development.

• Implement targeted psychological interventions that will aid students in achieving their personal and academic goals.

• Facilitate both individual and family counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and parenting support to enhance family dynamics.

• Engage in collaboration with community resources, external agencies, and referral sources to enhance support systems for clients, ensuring comprehensive care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services when needed, meticulously documenting incidents and responses to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all involved.

• Maintain open lines of communication with clients and families, offering immediate support and guidance via phone when necessary.

• Adhere to all regulatory requirements by maintaining an active LCSW license and participating in ongoing professional development.

• Offer insights and consultation to fellow team members regarding patients’ progress and needs during team meetings.

Your work will primarily focus on students in need of mental health support, encompassing a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid Florida Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS Healthcare) certification.
