To support the coding needs of various medical and surgical subspecialties, the full-time remote Georgia Licensed Specialty Coder will review, analyze, and code medical record documentation for accuracy and compliance with coding standards. Key responsibilities Review and code medical record documentation for ICD-10, CPT, Modifiers, and HCPCS codes Audit orders and claims for accuracy to minimize claim denials Provide technical guidance to physicians and staff in resolving coding issues Required qualifications H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required 3 years of coding experience in Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, EP, and Cardiothoracic specialties required One or more coding certifications (RHIA, RHIT, CCA, CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, CCS, or CCS-P) required upon hire Coding experience across multiple specialties and remote coding experience preferred Preferred certifications in specific surgical coding areas (e.g., Transplant Surgery, Neurosurgery)
