Field Service Technician Trainee

What you'll be doing...
As a Service Technician Trainee, you will create an Exceptional Client Experience while you learn to perform onsite repair and installation assistance on a variety of dental equipment. Developing your skills in client relationship building and positive communication, along with your technical skills, are key to success in this role. This is a hands-on training position that will be learning how to troubleshoot, repair, and install dental equipment. You will deliver equipment to jobsites and clients offices when needed to support the team and operational needs. The Service Tech Trainee requires strong technical aptitude for mechanical systems, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to quickly gain proficiency in technical skills.

• TECHNICAL SKILLS (SERVICE): You perform complex repairs and installations with a minimal call back rate.

What you'll need...

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to travel by car to client offices, meetings, trainings, and events as assigned.
• Maintain a valid driver's license, maintain a good driving record (as defined by Burkhart's liability insurance), and be insurable at all times. This position requires you drive a variety of vehicles, none of which require special commercial licensing.

Preferred Additional Education and/or Experience:

• Vocational training in mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and/or military technical training.

Salary Info:

• Salary Range of $21.00 - $25.00per hour. In addition to base pay, Field Service Technicians are eligible for quarterly productivity bonuses and annual profit sharing.

Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.
