Role and Responsibilities Health Coaches operate in a structured, high-engagement outreach model utilizing an automated dialer to connect with members. Coaches conduct back-to-back coaching conversations, providing education, support, and motivation to help members progress toward health goals while following established workflows and documentation standards. Job Summary and Details Start Date: Monday, September 14, 2026 Shift: Monday – Friday; must be open to any shift between 10:30am–9:00pm CST Training: 6 weeks from 8:00am–4:30pm CST (new hires may not miss any training days) Compensation: Hourly rate $21.50 or $25 with NBC-HWC or CHES certification Essential Job Functions Participate in telephonic calls, including inbound and outbound engagement to inform participants about the program and enroll them. Provide individualized behavior-change coaching to reduce high-risk behaviors and promote healthy habits. Outreach to members enrolled in coaching without a scheduled call; coordinate delivery of services with a multi-disciplinary care team (nurses, pharmacists, and external vendors). Support operational aspects to meet customer requirements; adhere to a schedule and manage a caseload (1:1 or team-based as needed). Participate in daily and monthly meetings to share updates and insights; note and track member progress and program efficacy. Specific Skills/Attributes Effective interpersonal and communication skills Ability to understand directions and respond to inquiries Ability to inspire members to change behaviors and see possibilities Willingness to learn coaching using motivational interviewing Flexibility to work any shift and availability for rotating Saturdays Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (e.g., Psychology, Nutrition, Exercise Science); NBHWC certification may substitute for the degree in some cases 1–2 years of related experience; customer service experience preferred Experience with benchmarks and contact center metrics; proficiency in computer data entry and Microsoft Office Ability to coordinate telephonic communication while navigating software and entering data Knowledge of lifestyle topics (smoking cessation, weight management, nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, sleep) Ability to work independently and prioritize a moderate workload Adaptability to schedule changes; ability to multitask with participants and staff Hard-wired internet connection required Equal Opportunity Sharecare and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers and E-Verify users.
