Position Description: Nestled along the Potomac River at Robinson Landing, Ada’s on the River is an award-winning dining destination where exceptional food, warm hospitality, and breathtaking views come together. From delivering food hot and accurately to keeping tables clean, reset, and ready for the next guest, you’ll help create a fast, seamless experience for every guest and support the entire service team.Alexandria Restaurant Partners locations include Ada’s on the River, Barca Pier & Wine Bar, Café Tu Tu Tango, Mia’s Italian Kitchen, Palette 22, Joe Theismann’s, The Royal, and Vola’s Dockside Grill & Hi-Tide Lounge. Position Responsibilities: Move with urgency — Deliver food quickly and accurately while keeping pace in a high-energy restaurant.Own the details — Match food to the correct table, follow presentation standards, and make sure every plate reaches the guest looking its best.Bring a team-first attitude — Jump in where needed and help the team deliver great service from start to finish.Stay organized under pressure — Prioritize multiple tasks and keep moving when business picks up.Communicate clearly — Listen, respond, and speak up when something needs attention.Keep it clean and safe — Maintain clean work areas, follow sanitation standards, and handle equipment and dishes safely.Stay guest-focused — Anticipate needs, respond to requests, and create a welcoming experience with every interaction.Support the team — Work closely with servers, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen team members to keep service flowing.Keep the dining room ready — Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly so guests never have to wait for a clean place to sit.
