Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Varied shift scheduling of 8-hour shifts, including:

• Days: 0730 - 1530
• Evenings: 1500 - 2330
• Nights: 2300 - 0730

Shifts may include weekends, holidays, and overtime rotation; no guarantee of hours or shift preference.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive care within a Long Term Care Facility located on the site of a hospital. Duties include:

• Performing assessments and treatments
• Administering medications
• Notifying MD/NP of pertinent information
• Admitting and discharging patients
• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Providing care for gastrostomy tubes and urinary catheters
• Administering nebulizer treatments, wound vac care, and CPAP care
• Other assigned duties as needed

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Candidates must possess an active State of Hawaii nursing license by the start of the assignment. If the candidate does not currently have a Hawaii license, they must apply upon acceptance of the offer.

Additional Information

Candidates must arrive by Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday. Please ensure availability for timely arrival.
