Nursing Assistant - Psychiatric Services Unit - CNA

Perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in personal needs and comforts of patients.

Perform delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to function independently and maturely. Ability to read, write and carry out directions. Ability to assemble, maintain and record data in an accurate record. Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the ill. Licensure/Certification: Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross. If a candidate does not currently have their Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross the Basic Life Support, certification will be included as part of the orientation program. MN CNA certification preferred, but not required.
