Our growth creates opportunity for advancement, leadership visibility, and long-term career development while maintaining the supportive, close-knit environment that sets us apart.If you're ready to grow your career while supporting important national missions, we'd love to connect with you.What You'll DoSupport mission-critical programs in secure government environmentsAnalyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality resultsEnsure compliance with contract and security standardsContribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performancePerform tasks associated with Big Data Platform management, utilizes skills in programming languages, develops prototype algorithms, as well as algorithm refinements, and supports data visualization and analyticsWhat You BringActive TS/SCI with PolygraphExperience supporting government or DoD programsAbility to work independently and within a collaborative team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsRelevant experience must be in designing/implementing machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data mining, advanced statistical analysis, advanced mathematical foundations, artificial intelligence, workflow and reproducibility, data management and curation, data modeling and assessment, experience as a data scientist working to support a single or multiple domain areas, and/or software engineering.Bachelor's degree and 3 years' relevant experience OR Associate's degree plus 5 years' experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.Degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science. A degree in a related field, a degree in the physical/hard sciences, or other science disciplines with a substantial computational component may be considered if it includes a concentration of coursework in advanced mathematics and/or computer science.Relevant certifications (Security+, CISSP, PMP, AWS, etc.)Agile, cloud, or modernization experienceCompensation & BenefitsThe projected salary range for this position is $114,900-$127,700, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and contract requirements.At Weeghman & Briggs, we believe our people are our greatest strength.
