We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Facility Maintenance Team Member will assist the Facility Manager with the daily upkeep of the facility's buildings and grounds. This position will generally involve the performance of manual tasks requiring skilled or special knowledge acquired through on-the-job training or experience. The Facility Maintenance Team Member will provide supervision of and provide assistance to team members in the completion of various tasks and day-to-day maintenance duties as required. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Facility MaintenanceMaintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the facilityInventory, organize, and stock up closets, toolboxes and maintenance areasCoordinate cleaning schedule around daily activitiesHave knowledge of building internals (sprinkler systems, HVAC systems, alarm systems, etc.)Manage utilities (lights, temperature controls, heaters, etc.)Maintain and repair playing surfacesSchedule and perform maintenance on facility equipmentCoordinate with Directors on facility repairs to avoid conflictsContract maintenance with outside vendors when necessaryHandle inspections (fire, sprinkler, elevator, etc.)Grounds MaintenanceMonitor overall appearance and cleanliness of the buildingCoordinate maintenance and repair work with directors and contractors to avoid conflicts and maximize usage of courtsMonitor all walkways and flower beds and keep clear of weeds, grass, trash, water, ice, etc.Develop annual court maintenance plan/log, including but not limited to the repairing/cleaningOperate and maintain sports equipmentMaintain all trees, shrubbery and flower bedsOperate machinery to include but not limited to all equipmentClean and maintain parking lotKeep inventory of supplies and equipment as well as maintenance logsMake sure all paperwork is up to dateFollow up with guests to learn how the facility can be improvedComplete special projects and daily assignments as directed by Operations DirectorMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must have experience working with sports facilities and associated grounds and equipmentGeneral knowledge of maintenance, janitorial & landscapingHigh School Diploma or equivalent certification requirementsUnderstand and follow both oral and written instructionsWork independently with minimal supervisionEffective time management skillsPrior experience using maintenance equipment and procedures1 to 2 years' experience with sports facilities operations/landscapingAbility to obtain Kentucky pesticide applicators license within 60 days of hireCandidate must be available and willing to work long hours and varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidaysPossess or ability to obtain a valid Driver's LicenseWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSWill be required to lift up to 50 poundsWill be required to work in all weather conditionsWill be required to paint, clean equipment, and safely handle chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol formsWill be required to work in conditions that will create dirt and dustWill be required to perform essential maintenance to facility or equipment which may involve but are not limited to the following activities: semi reaching to full-reach overhead; crouching; kneeling; shoveling; working in narrow and/or confining spaces: underground, overhead, and at ground level; twisting of the waist, shoulders, and legs; and lying on stomach and/or backAbility to navigate around the facility for long periods of timeAbility to climb elevated areas to complete tasks (i.e. lift for scoreboards, etc.)Facility has intermittent noise
