Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1-2 years of ER experience with floating to Med Surg.

Details

• Critical access hospital setting located 2.5 hours from the nearest large hospital
• Emergency Department with floating to Med Surg required
• Diverse patient population including trauma cases from a nearby major highway and elderly ailments
• 12-hour night shift schedule (7p-7a)
• Uses CPSI EMR system
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required, 2 years preferred
• Experience floating between Med Surg and ER required

• Care for a wide variety of illnesses and injuries due to the facility's critical access location
