Way Finders currently has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Assistant Property Manager. CORI/SORI.The candidate will work fully onsite covering properties in Charlton, Wales, Ware, and Ludlow. Occasional travel is required for trainings and meetings.Responsibilities include:Provide primary administrative supportEnsure tenants are responded to in a timely, respectful, and empathetic manner whether in-person, by phone, or through email correspondence; direct higher-level inquiries/issues to the appropriate personnel, following up to confirm resolutionComplete all tenant documentation in a timely and accurate mannerMaintain tenant files; track and prepare files for annual renewal and recertification process; prepare and submit all recertifications to Property Manager (PM) for final approval; forward non-cooperative cases to designated attorneyPerform all unit inspections for assigned propertiesAssist the PM in achieving occupancy goals through tenant retention, marketing, leasing, and rent collectionMonitor monthly receivables, prepare 30-day notices and agreements, pursuing eviction as necessaryAssist the PM to develop and maintain property budgets, and in preparation for audits and compliance-monitoringEnsure the security and protection of private tenant records and documents in accordance with all applicable standards, rules, policies, and regulationsEstablish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal staff (including across departments), tenants, owners, community groups, funding sources, and other housing-related departments or agenciesRequirements include:2 years' equivalent experience with 1 year as a specialist; a combination of experience plus an Associate degree may be a substituteBilingual (English/Spanish) skills appreciated but not requiredDemonstrated ability with Microsoft Office applications, and comfort learning new technologies; Yardi experience highly preferredExcellent customer service skillsSolid organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, plus the ability to reprioritizeFlexibility for travel throughout the portfolio and to respond to on-call/emergency callsKnowledge of Tax Credits, Rural Development, and Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations preferredAbility to travel to other locations during the workdayCORI/SORIWay Finders is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
