Benefits Analyst

Salary Range: $110K-$120K Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 9-5 About the Opportunity A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Benefits Analyst to join its Human Resources team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned benefits professional who enjoys balancing benefits administration , compliance , data analysis , HRIS management , and employee support in a collaborative, service-oriented environment. Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , Human Resources , Accounting , or a related field 8+ years of experience in benefits administration within a multi‑state or multi‑country environment Strong knowledge of employee benefits, benefits compliance, payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and benefits data management Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysis tools Experience managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills Responsibilities Administer and manage all employee benefits programs , including medical, dental, and vision plans, health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs), life and accident insurance Short‑ and long‑term disability programs, wellness initiatives, and voluntary benefits Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA , and other applicable federal and state regulations Serve as a subject matter expert for benefits‑related inquiries and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues Coordinate annual enrollment activities, plan changes, and new benefit program implementations Conduct benefits benchmarking , market research, and program analysis to support strategic decision‑making Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations using advanced data analysis techniques Draft and support employee communications, plan documents, amendments, and Summary Plan Descriptions Manage compliance activities, including Form 5500 filings, ACA reporting, HIRD reporting, non‑discrimination testing, and audit support Partner with HRIS teams to ensure accurate configuration and administration of benefits systems Reconcile payroll deductions, HSA funding, and 401(k) contributions while researching discrepancies Support leave administration and retirement plan operations as needed Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate workflows, and enhance employee experiences Participate in strategic HR and benefits projects and long‑term planning initiatives Take the Next Step Apply today to join a respected organization where your expertise in benefits administration , HR compliance , and HRIS systems will make a meaningful impact on employees and organizational success.
