Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of equipment and facilities. This role supports production operations by minimizing downtime through timely maintenance and repairs. The technician maintains accurate records, adheres to safety regulations, and collaborates effectively with team members and other departments.Perform routine but diversified maintenance tasks:Install and maintain production machines and the plant's facility equipmentDiagnose problems, repair and replace parts, test and make adjustmentsPerform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilitiesAssist in the inspection and troubleshooting of equipment to identify issuesMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings to supervisorsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environmentMaintains a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standardsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredVocational training or certification in relevant field (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HVAC) preferred1-3 years of experience in general maintenance or related fieldBasic knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety practicesBasic proficiency with hand and power toolsAbility to read and interpret simple diagrams and manualsUnderstanding of basic mechanical and electrical systemsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The hiring range for this position is typically $20.68 - $31.02 per hour. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Bonus, gainshare, and/or equity may be eligible for this position.
