Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
- Document services accurately and promptly to maintain continuity of care
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs according to practice acts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize outcomes
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- You are a graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
- You hold an active Florida PT license or are ready to obtain one
- You bring strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
- You are flexible and adapt easily to different facilities, schedules, and patient needs
Education
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and direct patient care
- Clinical skills to develop and update individualized plans of care
- Experience supervising PTAs and Rehab Techs in accordance with practice acts
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and families
- Documentation practices that are accurate, timely, and compliant
- Understanding of safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
