Growing together.As the Cardiologist you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients requiring specialize care. You'll work as part of a team-based model where primary and specialty care providers join with hospital partners, community specialists, and skilled nursing facilities to provide high-quality, evidence-based medicine to a diverse and growing population.Primary Responsibilities:Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditionsDevelop and implement a plan of care for these patients, as well as prescribe medications, exercises and/or other treatments and testing such as lab sessions & testing include echocardiography, stress testing, vascular ultrasound imaging, nuclear imaging, cardiac device clinicCollaborates with the clinical and administrative teams in the management of patient care. Maintaining continuity of care through the exchange of information with outside health and social agenciesServes as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists to consults with providers on issues related to patient careTeaches and counsels individuals and groups with regard to specific health care needs. Serves as an educator in areas of specializationParticipates in the development of health education programsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic MedicineBoard Certified or Bord Certified Eligible in CardiologyCurrent active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulationsCurrent active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulationsAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationPreferred Qualifications:Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialtyEcho and Nuclear certificationCompensation for this specialty generally ranges from $367,500 - $700,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
