In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between business partners, agile teams, developers, database resources, and third-party vendors to help deliver system updates, product changes, testing support, and production enhancements.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys translating business needs into clear technical specifications, working hands-on with data and systems, and supporting solutions that directly impact how products are presented and illustrated for agents and customers.What You’ll DoPartner with business stakeholders, agile teams, developers, database teams, and vendors to gather requirements and support system enhancementsCreate clear, detailed specifications and documentation that connect business goals to technical executionSupport product updates, new releases, testing efforts, regression reviews, and database maintenance activitiesUse SQL and Excel to review data, troubleshoot issues, support configuration changes, and validate resultsAssist with API-related coordination, third-party data integrations, and communication between internal and external teamsParticipate in agile ceremonies, daily syncs, planning efforts, retrospectives, and release coordinationHelp identify issues, define exceptions, support testing automation efforts, and contribute to continuous improvementProvide production support as needed, including occasional support for deployments or time-sensitive product updatesWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree preferred, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education requirementMinimum of four years related systems analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or technology experienceStrong SQL experience, with the ability to navigate databases, review data, and support system updatesAdvanced Excel skills: Power Query experience is a plusExperience working in an agile environmentAbility to write detailed, organized, and easy-to-follow specifications, test cases, and process documentationExposure to APIs, XML files, Postman, SOAPUI, third-party integrations, or automation testing tools is preferredStrong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, open-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesWhy Should You Join the Team?At American National, you will be part of a people-centered organization where collaboration, service, and continuous improvement are valued.
