Industrial Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician

Industrial Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician Under limited supervision, responsible for installing, calibrating, and testing electronic manufacturing devices and systems. Utilizing Ladder Logic and other automation system programming languages, troubleshoot electronic systems and peripherals to ensure proper functionality. Responsibilities Solve electronic system problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Assist electrical/automation engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of electronic devices and systems. Diagnose and repair electrical, power and control systems. Follow preventative maintenance plans and inspect and maintain electrical equipment. Assist in the integration of factory automation equipment and the construction of new specialized machines. Troubleshoot complex programs and logic diagrams to facilitate construction of new automation and specialized machinery. Assist and/or perform in any and all areas as assigned. Work any and all shifts/days as required. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in electronics/technical field. 4 years of journeyman level electrical experience. Basic proficiency in the use and maintenance of a variety of tools. Detail‑oriented tasks using intermediate language skills and math skills. Basic knowledge of AC/DC circuits. Advanced knowledge of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) operation and programming. Ability to navigate Building Management Systems (BMS) and quickly understand system issues. Knowledge of machining and electronic/electrical manufacturing equipment. Ability to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds. Target Hiring Range Hourly: USD 34.53 – USD 42.27. Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
