Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed - HWY146 in Mont Belvieu, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observed concerns. You will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and emergency responders while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility-related industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and promptly reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report security-related conditions, access-control issues, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
