We are seeking Quality Inspectors for an exciting career opportunity with a global plastics manufacturer in the Libertyville area. Duties/Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector

• Complete first article, in-process, and final inspection of products.
• Perform dimensional inspections on product utilizing a variety of metrology tools and gauging equipment.
• Complete all necessary documentation and certifications throughout the quality process (First Article Inspection Report, Non-Conformance Reports, PPAP, and other customer-required documents).
• Track and report on discrepancies & organize corrective actions based on findings.
• Participate in internal and supplier audits

Qualifications of a Quality Inspector:

• Strong Background handling dimensional quality inspection of products within a manufacturing environment (plastics industry is a plus, but not required!)
• Skilled in setting up and programming CMM preferred.
• Strong background working with inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, thread gauges, optical comparators, vision inspection systems).
• Knowledge and experience with GD&T.
