Workplace Operations Coordinator (Contract)

Better Health is creating a new medical provider type, disrupting the $60B home medical supply industry. By bundling peer support, coaching, education, and home delivery of medical supplies into an end-to-end care solution that helps members better manage their chronic conditions.

Contract Duration: Initial 90 day contract with potential opportunity for extension or longer term employment based on business needs and performance

Employment Type: 1099 / Contractor

Compensation: $30 to $38/hour depending on experience

We're looking for a reliable and highly organized Workplace Operations Coordinator contractor to maintain a consistent onsite presence and support day-to-day office and operational needs in our San Francisco office. This person will help ensure the office remains operationally organized, visitor-ready, and properly supported during business hours.

This is an onsite role based in our San Francisco office during posted business hours:

Tuesday-Friday

10:00 AM-5:30 PM

What Will You Do As A Workplace Operations Coordinator?

• Maintain a consistent onsite presence during business hours
• Support onsite operational readiness during external visits and reviews
• Process and distribute incoming mail and packages
• Coordinate and ship employee gifts and company swag
• Coordinate basic workplace upkeep and office organization needs
• Manage office access, including coordinating visitor entry and employee access support
• Help keep the office organized, stocked, operationally ready, and running smoothly
• Provide operational and administrative coordination support across teams as needed
• Coordinate with building management and external vendors as needed

• Are comfortable operating independently and handling day-to-day operational responsibilities onsite

• You have prior experience in healthcare office coordination, workplace operations, hospitality, or administrative support
• You've supported onsite office management or workplace logistics before
• You're comfortable coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders
• You enjoy taking ownership of operational details and improving processes
• You have experience supporting office visits or compliance-related logistics
